i smoke a flat yesterday and no smoke flavor,had smoke thoughout the smoke?

You smoked a what? What temperature was it smoking/cooking at, what kind of wood did you use, was the meat frozen when you put it on? Any more information would be helpful in figuring this out.

This likely a brisket flat, but I agree. A lot more information is needed here to be able to give any advice..

smoked a brisket flat at around 235 for about 6 hrs it weigh 4 1/2 pds i was using oak chunks thoughout, let come to room temp before putting it on
