I see some classes advertised on the net. Has anyone tried one? Would you be willing to share your experience? I' d prefer one near orlando, but could travel if need be.
Yes I've taken Kevin's Bevington BBQ grill class, who runs this site, at a near-by Orlando BBQ/Grill & Accessory store called All Grills & More. It's technically in Oveido, FL which is just a suburb or Orlando but its right up the street from me. I loved the class. You'll have a great time. I met some cool new people and had a blast. It's a great class to take as a couple but my wife got the class for me as a Christmas present. They serve all the ice cold beer (on tap) & wine you can drink. I learned a lot about cooking beef which was great because I really wanted to learn how to cook the brisket. Kevin teaches other BBQ grilling classes at this place on different topics as well. In the class he teaches everything from purchasing the right meats, to every step of the preparation up to placing it on the grill & then you eat what he's prepared before class because obviously it would take to long to cook. The class lasted about 3 1/2 hours but it's a laid back atmosphere and fun. To check out the BBQ grilling classes availability & prices where I took the class go to http://www.allgrillsandmore.com/classes/.
