Well we used our Superbowl cook to do some practice for our first comp. of the season coming up. We did babybacks, also using HomeBBQ.com World Famous Rib Rub, A packer brisket, using the HomeBBQ.com championship beef rub. Tried  the hot and fast method on my offset. Did a 14lb. packer to 190 in 4 hours and 15 minutes at 350. Was pleasantly surprised. Moist and tender with a good texture. Best part wasI got the best bark ever. Also did a couple of butts using big daddys,(since I don't see butt rub at the HomeBBQ.com online store yet, lol). I'm like Kevin, not really concerned with who wins but good reason for BBQ, friends and family.

Doesn't need to be the Super Bowl to give us a reason to cook but we did take the opportunity.  Cooked for three parties for a total of 30 Butts, 20 Chickens, 60 slabs of Back Ribs and 1 pan of Beans.  Plenty to go around and some pretty tired dogs by the time of kick off.  Everyone enjoyed the game and of course the food.
